When the land is free".
Merci Leïwia. Un petit appel à André Manoukian (voir l'interview).
Where The Land Is Free
(Leiwïa. 2003)
I want to go right now where the land is free
I want to see the bird when he meets the tree
This quiet house can manage without me
Need to spread my wings, need some time to be
A rest in peace for a moment
Is like a kiss without a demand
Sweet surprise
Loves in disguise
In her evening dress, the moon never waits in vain
The sun is right on time for the wedding night
This lovely place can manage without pain
Need no one to kill, need no one to blame
A rest in peace for a moment
Is like a kiss without a demand
Sweet surprise
Loves in disguise
I want to go right now where the land is free
I want to see the bird when he meets the tree
This quiet house can manage without me
Need to spread my wings, need some time to be
A rest in peace for a moment
Is like a kiss without a demand
Sweet surprise
Loves in disguise
Coccinelle
(Leiwïa. 2004)
trapping blues
says there’s something else
swimming in your eyes
but the doom sings
entrancing tunes
that bind hand and foot
pride and strong is that
something else
swimming in your eyes
when your mind is about to fall
it takes you by surprise
sometimes a ship
loops out of the mist
and you feel
your bonds are getting loose
outside
outside
outside
a red point falling down
oh down
down
oh
when a world disappears
it is born again
light and young
like that Coccinelle
fighting in the wind
to get back to the rose tree
where her future is growing
light and strong
is the coccinelle
swimming in your eyes
when your mind is about to fall
watch her, watch her
sometimes a ship
loops out of the mist
and you feel
your bonds are getting loose
outside
outside
outside
a red point falling down
oh down
down
oh
when a world disappears
it is born again
